Elementary Coordinator
I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN in a family that loves to serve others in a variety of ways. I grew up regularly attending church and, even, taught Sunday school to the 3, 4, and 5 year olds during high school! While attending school at IPFW, now Purdue University Fort Wayne, I decided that I wanted to spend my life helping others and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in psychology. With the goal of improving the mental health of kids and adults, focusing on autism, depression, anxiety, and ADHD, I became a social worker in 2014. In late 2017, my family started to attend The Pointe Church and I kept feeling called to help with the kids ministry. During the Barnabas Challenge of 2018, I gave up fighting the call and offered to serve. Through my time volunteering in KidsPointe, I learned that I had passion for teaching kids about Christ and helping them on their journey of faith. I, now, lead our grade school age kids and am excited each week to spend time with them and help them learn about the amazing things that God has done!
A geek to the core, I love superheroes (DC is way better than Marvel), board games, and, especially, reading. Frequently, my free time is spent checking out events throughout the Fort Wayne area with my family, Ric-whom I married in 2006-and our awesome sons, Clay and Levi.
