Children's Pastor
Mike is the kidminator. He is passionate about kids because he is a big kid and lights up when he speaks about them. Mike has been involved in children’s ministry for 36 years and is something he absolutely loves. It is his desire is to see kids have fun, fall in love with Jesus and His word, and be lifelong followers of Jesus.
Mike grew up in Buffalo, NY and is an avid Bills and Sabres fan so he knows the pain of losing. He was stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base, New York where he was a plumber and married his wife, Amy. They have been married for 30 years and together have 3 children who are all grown and 3 grandchildren with one more on the way.
Mike earned a degree in Christian education at Nazarene Bible College and started pastoring children in 1999 in Columbus, Ohio. Yes, he is a Buckeye fan but that just makes Him better. He is passionate about leading children to Jesus and seeing them be used by God to further his kingdom because they are the church of today and the hope of tomorrow.
Outside of church, Mike loves to work in the garden, play in his wood shop, and exercise. His favorite thing to do is spend time with his family especially his wife.
